One of the most distinctive voices in contemporary jazz returns to Cosmopolite. Stacey Kent arrives with a new album, new repertoire, and a musical expression that remains as intimate, elegant, and recognizable as ever.

For more than two decades, Kent has carved out a unique place in the jazz world. With her warm, precise vocals and her ability to bring out even the smallest nuances in a song, she has made everything from American jazz standards to French chansons and Brazilian songs part of her own musical universe. She has worked closely with saxophonist and arranger Jim Tomlinson, and several of her songs feature lyrics written by Nobel Prize-winning author Kazuo Ishiguro.

In 2026, she released A Time For Love – a quiet and intimate album recorded together with pianist Art Hirahara and Jim Tomlinson. On the album, Kent interprets songs such as “The Shadow of Your Smile,” “God Only Knows,” and “La Javanaise” with the same calmness and presence that have made her a beloved artist around the world.
