We had high hopes of being able to carry out the concert, but now see that it is not possible due to entry restrictions. We therefore postpone until 2021, and think that this is just as good. Then we can hopefully expand the capacity, so even more people can experience this legendary band! October 29, 2021 will be a new concert date, and tickets already purchased will be valid until a new concert date. It is possible to refund your ticket at Ticketmaster, but of course we hope that you will keep it. It will be a while to wait - but it's going to be worth it!

It's a matter of great regret to us that we've had to reschedule our show in Oslo to late in 2021.
It's clear, though, that the problems relating to public performance (and, indeed, travel) in the time of C-19 are not going to have been resolved in the next ten weeks. Even if, miraculously, a vaccine were to pass safety tests by then it woludn't be ready for mass distribution.
Music is wonderful stuff and live music can be, we hope, exciting even to the point of being dangerous. But in these most serious of times we cannot justify putting ourselves, our crew, our audience and all those who work in venues into real and mortal danger for the sake of musical performance.
So we must wait, with eager anticipation, for next year. We look forward to seeing you then.
The excellent polish bass-player Kinga Głyk, who will perform at Cosmopolite on the International Women’s Day on March 8th, got the opportunity to lead her band at a young age. This experience helped her become more confident and aware of her own opinions and desires. As a result, it made her a better person, she says in this interview.

This years festival lasted for three days, and each one was different from the other. The emotions that accompany listening to live music and the emotions of artists playing for the first time since months on stage, were enormous. We are greatful for the meeting with the artists of Djangofestivalen family, and the exchange of energy was the most wonderful part of the experience.
