We are excited to welcome Achy Ouafik as our new Communications Manager! Achy joins us from Oslo World, where he was the PR Manager for one of Europe's leading world music festivals.
Achy has an extensive background in the cultural and music industry. He previously worked as a content producer at Warner Music, where he created engaging content for a wide audience. As Communications Manager for the CODA Dance Festival, he helped increase audience engagement, and he also has experience at Norsk Publikumsutvikling, where he analyzed audience data to improve communication strategies. His work at Oslo World has provided him with valuable insights into creating effective and engaging campaigns.
As a passionate supporter of world music, Achy is driven by a desire to bring culture closer to people. He looks forward to systematically developing Cosmopolite's PR and communication strategy, while appreciating the opportunity to be part of an institution with such a rich history.

The excellent polish bass-player Kinga Głyk, who will perform at Cosmopolite on the International Women’s Day on March 8th, got the opportunity to lead her band at a young age. This experience helped her become more confident and aware of her own opinions and desires. As a result, it made her a better person, she says in this interview.

This years festival lasted for three days, and each one was different from the other. The emotions that accompany listening to live music and the emotions of artists playing for the first time since months on stage, were enormous. We are greatful for the meeting with the artists of Djangofestivalen family, and the exchange of energy was the most wonderful part of the experience.
