True Loves

True Loves True Loves comes to Cosmopolite with an explosive mix of instrumental funk and soul. In a short time, the Seattle-based band has built an international reputation with concerts full of groove, energy, and a chemistry that runs deep.

The band began as a jam session in 2014 between drummer David McGraw, bassist Bryant Moore, and guitarist Jimmy James. Since then, the project has grown into a powerful seven-piece outfit featuring percussionist Iván Galvez, trombonist Greg Kramer, and saxophonists Gordon Brown and Skerik.

Their debut album Famous Last Words brought them attention far beyond Seattle, while the follow-up Sunday Afternoon revealed a band that both honors classic funk and breathes new life into the genre. New singles and European tours have only strengthened their reputation as a band that truly comes alive on stage.
