This autumn, something truly special is happening: Scheen Jazzorkester will premiere a brand-new commissioned work by Norwegian rising star Thea Grant.

The piece, currently titled Century Caves, invites the audience into a poetic, raw and hypnotic soundscape, with Grant herself contributing vocals. Here, humans and nature, past and present, dreams and reality merge in a musical journey inspired by the shapes, textures and movements of the landscape.

The concert features an expanded and especially powerful edition of Scheen Jazzorkester, joined by Anna Ueland on synth and vocals, as well as Gard Hvammen on keys.

This will be a rare concert experience — beautiful, intense and entirely new.
