Kirill Richter & Richter Trio: Christmas Concert

On 24 November, Kirill Richter and Richter Trio invites for a Christmas concert at Cosmopolite in Oslo. On stage, Kirill Richter will be joined by the Richter Trio, featuring violinist Jérémie Visseaux and cellist August Krepak.

Kirill Richter is a composer and pianist working in contemporary classical music across a wide range of genres, from solo and chamber music to large-scale symphonic works. His music has been featured in films, ballet productions and major international projects in fashion and sport, including collaborations with Cartier and FIFA during the 2018 FIFA World Cup. His composition In Memoriam was released by the legendary German classical label Deutsche Grammophon and was performed during the figure skating events at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing.

Richter Trio has performed at leading European venues, including Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, Royal Albert Hall and Berliner Philharmonie. The trio has appeared at international music festivals including Classical:NEXT in Rotterdam, Reeperbahn Festival in Hamburg, The Great Escape in Brighton, Station Narva in Estonia and Festival dei Due Mondi in Spoleto. The trio has performed across Europe and Asia, from France, the Netherlands, Switzerland and Austria to Japan and Qatar.

Richter Trio performs exclusively the music of Kirill Richter, combining contemporary classical music with the expressive language of film music, minimalism and the avant-garde.

Kirill Richter and Richter Trio have released two studio albums: Chronos (2019) and Towards the Beloved City (2025).

On 24 November, Kirill Richter and Richter Trio will make their Norwegian debut at Cosmopolite in Oslo.
