CosmopoLITEN: Tipp Tipp Tátára Ur!

Have you heard the story of how the armadillo became a tiny guitar? Or the sound of a rattling donkey jawbone?

In Gammelt er gøy, the trio Tipp Tipp Tátára Ur! take the children on a musical journey back in time. Through folk music and stories from Norway, Peru, Portugal and Germany, the musicians sing, play, improvise and dance their way through a remarkable collection of instruments and traditions.

The children are invited not only to listen, but also to join in through rhythm, movement and play. The result is a lively and informal performance that shows how old music can still be surprising, exciting and great fun.
