2020 is the year when Oslo's largest showcase for music outside the western hit list sphere can finally look inwards, towards ourselves, the country we live in and the fantastic diversity of artists and music genres that easily find their way under the Oslo World umbrella. - Mode Steinkjer, Dagsavisen (read the article here).
It may not have been easy to complete Oslo World in 2020, especially when in the middle of planning you have to change course and start the booking process again. Or when new austerity measures are introduced by the government in the middle of the festival week. But with a steel-safe and solution-oriented production team, the implementation went smoothly - and we could not have been happier.

The excellent polish bass-player Kinga Głyk, who will perform at Cosmopolite on the International Women’s Day on March 8th, got the opportunity to lead her band at a young age. This experience helped her become more confident and aware of her own opinions and desires. As a result, it made her a better person, she says in this interview.

This years festival lasted for three days, and each one was different from the other. The emotions that accompany listening to live music and the emotions of artists playing for the first time since months on stage, were enormous. We are greatful for the meeting with the artists of Djangofestivalen family, and the exchange of energy was the most wonderful part of the experience.
