Carnival and Grand Opening

Soria Moria Studentscene er en organisasjon
bygget av studenter for studenter. Vi ønsker
å bruke musikk som et verktøy for å knytte
forskjellige kulturer sammen og i tillegg bli et
knyttepunkt mellom Oslo vest og øst.
Våre verdier bygger på
FNs diskrimineringskonvensjon som sier:
Alle skal innkluderes uansett hudfarge,
nasjonalitet, etniske opprinnelse, religion
eller livssyn, legning, leveform eller orientering.

Torsdag 27. Januar

Soria Moria Studentscene åpner dørene
27. Januar. Vi starter med å invitere
til en gigantisk karnevalsfest. Med inspirasjon
fra gatekarnevalet i Oslo på 1980-tallet og
latinamerikansk karnevalskultur setter vi
Cosmopolite på kartet. Plateselskapet Grandma
Funkyard setter det 83 år gamle slottet i
bevegelse med brasilianske sambarytmer og
det vil også bli en touch av house, soul,
reggae og funk. I tillegg vil en jury gi ut pris
for beste kostyme.

Grandma's Funkyard is a professional music production & publishing house
that consists of artists, producers, engineers, designers and managers.

Grandma & GrandPA - Are two producer DJs from Grandma´s Funkyard with a
solid taste for different music genres. A taste of funk, sometimes house,
always danceable, this duo has teamed up for a warm night of brazilian
rhytm.

Trio Brasil - rythm is a dancer, and these three guys have played their way
from Brazil to Oslo where they joined forces and are now supplying/giving us
the sound of brasilian bossa nova with a touch of funk, soul, samba and
reggea.

Carina Istre is a soul and funk mistress. Her two favorite places are the
beaches of brazil and the studio. Like always, she brings the vocals.

Rogerio Nunes himself is coming with to bang the percussion to the beat of
his brazilian blood.
