Hilde Louise Asbjørnsen Guro von Germeten Heartattack and Vine - en hyllest til Tom Waits

Hilde Louise Asbjørnsen and Guro von Germeten invite you to a personal and poetic tribute to their musical muse Tom Waits. Through their many respective albums, the two songwriters have been inspired by Waits' narrative lyrics and dramatic musical universe. In the autumn of 2019, they shared the stage together in front of a packed National Jazz Stage on the occasion of his 70th birthday. The concert became a concept, and now they are visiting Cosmopolite with interpretations of their favorite songs from Waits' catalog. In the back they have a sparkling band consisting of Olga Konkova on piano, Oddrun Lilja on guitar, Ellen Brekken on bass and Michaela Antalova on drums.

The first time Guro and Hilde Louise met was when they visited Tom Waits' 60th anniversary celebration at Rockefeller in 2009, with the tribute band Blow and several other Norwegian artists. After that, they found each other in several ways: Guro's debut album "Bad Dreams and Good Nightmares" was produced by Asbjørnsen and Anders Aarum and released on Asbjørnsen's label, Sweet Morning Music. They still have to visit each other's concerts, and collaborate around the record company. And not least shared his passionate relationship with the powerhouse Tom Waits
