Lecture 1 Livssorg: Å leve godt med livets u-svinger

Due to limited capacity in the hall as a result of covid-19, there will be 2 lectures. This is lecture no. 1

How to live well when life changes?

Many people associate the word grief with death, but what about the grief we have elsewhere in life, the losses and loss that occur when we lose bits of ourselves?
What about the things that did not turn out the way we had intended - illness, relatives' lives, marital breakdown, loss of family life, involuntary childlessness, loss of job / ability to work, dreams that did not come true?
The grief of losing oneself, one's present and future.

Psychologist Janette Røseth will talk about:
How do you get up after life takes you? When life takes u-turns you were not prepared for?
How can you live with the grief of life and the changes? How can mastery become part of the new everyday life?
The lecture deals with the grief of life that will arise during the life of most people, and how you can best deal with it and live well in spite of it.

In addition to being a psychologist, Janette Røseth is a relative and lives with chronic pain. She will share her own experiences, as well as from working with other people.
